Pediatric Safety and CPR Class Conducted by GCMC's CPR's instructors, the class is designed for new parents, grandparents, and caregivers and will focus on pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation and the artificial breathing and artificial circulation of blood to sustain life in a non-breathing, pulseless victim. During the class, a person is trained to recognize and treat the non-breathing victim. Please check our Community Calendar for dates. Baby Basics Being a parent, grandparent, or caregiver to an infant or toddler can be hectic at times. We all find ourselves with occasional questions. GCMC's registered pediatric nurses will offer information on adjusting to the changes that occur during the first weeks after the baby's birth. A variety of techniques will be offered to assist in bonding, sleep patterns, feeding (breast and bottle), diapering, bathing, and safety. Pre-registration is necessary.
