Breast Cancer Support Group – “The Gifts of Change”
Change is an ever-present part of our lives and should be embraced, welcomed, and regarded as an opportunity to gain a new perspective. Writer Nancy Christie, author of the book “The Gifts of Change”, will share her ideas about how major change in your life, such as cancer, can actually help you develop new abilities, as well as igniting physical, mental, emotional and spiritual growth. Nancy's work has appeared in Women's Day , Better Homes & Gardens , and other publications.

Save the Skin You're In!
Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States. About one million Americans develop skin cancer each year. Grove City Medical Center General Surgeon Dr. Charles Majchrzak will discuss prevention, diagnosis and surgical and non-surgical treatments of skin cancer.

Stroke Risk Assessments
Stroke is the third largest cause of death in the US, and one of the leading causes of disability. It's important to know the facts and find out if you are at risk for stroke. GCMC is offering free stroke risk assessments, which will include family history, blood pressure and pulse checks, and a screening for carotid bruits.
