Ambulatory (Outpatient) Care
The Ambulatory Care Department manages many services associated with preparation for surgery and procedures and surgeries that happen on the same day, eliminating the need for an overnight stay in the hospital. With today’s technological advancements and instrumentation, many surgeries are being performed using minimally-invasive techniques, causing far less trauma to patients.
Same day surgical procedures are performed in the hospital’s fully-equipped operating rooms and patients recover in the post-acute care unit, with all of the hospital’s services close at hand, should the need arise for special support.
