Blood Donor Program

A partnership with Central Blood Bank of Pittsburgh ensures the hospital that an adequate blood supply will be available when needed. An autologous donor program allows patients to donate their own blood for use in surgery. Directed donations for family members also can be drawn at the hospital by calling Central Blood bank at 1-800-310-9551 or (412)-456-1980 to make the necessary arrangements.
