Emergency Department
Grove City Medical Center’s Emergency Department provides a vital service to the citizens of Grove City and other surrounding communities. For those patients needing immediate medical attention, the department is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and no one is turned away based on their inability to pay for services.
Patients in the Emergency Department are evaluated and treated by experienced Emergency Department nursing staff and physicians. Special training in Advanced Cardiac and Pediatric Life Support, trauma and other medical emergencies is required for the ED staff. The Emergency Department is specially equipped to accommodate patients of all ages and sizes.
Dr. Matthew Glenn is the Medical Director for the Emergency Department.
In some cases, the complexity of a patient's injuries or medical history warrants higher level services than can be delivered through our Emergency Department. In such instances, patients with certain cardiac conditions, severe trauma, burns, psychiatric or pediatric illnesses may be transferred to other facilities for advanced treatment.
Emergency Department Care Includes:
The following list represents services that we offer through our Emergency Department, as needed, based on each patient's condition.
