Physical Therapy
Whether your physician orders inpatient or outpatient treatment, our trained staff of physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and technicians are dedicated to assisting patients in progressing to their fullest ability. Physical therapy offers specialized care in the areas of orthopedics, neurology, sports medicine, wound care, and prosthetics as well as care for patients with various conditions such as diabetes and arthritis.
At Grove City Medical Center, we have four physical therapy settings including Acute Care, Transitional Care, Outpatient Services, and Home Health care.
Within these four settings, we treat all age groups and patients with a wide variety of diagnoses. Our goal is to restore each patient to his or her maximum function and independence, and thereby facilitating an optimal quality of life.
Acute Care Services are provided to patients who are admitted to the hospital for a short stay with a hopeful discharge to home. If a longer stay is needed, your physical therapy will be provided in the Transitional Care Center (TCC). In addition to receiving excellent physical therapy care in the TCC, residents have access to an activities lounge and the rooms have a "homier" feel. Our Outpatient Services department is available to treat those individuals, athletes, or workers with injuries, disease, or wounds. A recent survey of patients found that the treatment they received was beneficial and professional and that they would recommend our service to a friend. Most major insurances are accepted. If you are unable to get to the hospital, home physical therapy can be provided. Should you require home physical therapy, an appointment to be evaluated in our outpatient department, or the placement of a loved one in our Transitional Care Center, please phone 724-450-7085 and our personable staff will assist you.Respiratory Care

Sleep Center
The Sleep Center provides diagnostic and therapeutic outpatient testing for treatment of sleep disorders such as Obstructive Apnea. These studies require a physician order and are done by appointment. The patient is monitored through the night by a trained sleep technician in our sleep lab.
