Timothy Lilly, D.O., Received Grove City Medical Center's 2005 A. G. Sikorsky Award

Sikorsky AwardTimothy Lilly, D.O., has been named the recipient of Grove City Medical Center’s 2005 A. G. Sikorsky Award. An internal medicine specialist on staff at United Community Hospital, Dr. Lilly’s office is located in the hospital’s Medical Office Building.

Dr. Lilly received nominations from several GCMC employees, and his teaching skills earned him the praise of many. Dr. Lilly can be seen regularly throughout the hospital accompanied by medical students. He is a Training Center faculty member for GCMC ’s Advanced Cardiac Life Support Classes and has spent many hours devoted to lecturing during these classes. He is always willing to share his expertise with his students, staff members, patients and their families, and his dedicated teaching efforts provide high quality education to many people within Grove City Medical Center and the community.

The A. G. Sikorsky Award was initiated in 1975 as a lasting tribute to Dr. Alexander G. Sikorsky, a pioneer in teaching at Bashline Memorial Hospital. This annual award is given to a physician, nurse, or paramedical person who has demonstrated exceptional teaching abilities.
