MRI
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a noninvasive medical imaging study that helps physicians diagnose and treat medical conditions through the use of a powerful magnetic field, radio frequency pulses and a computer. MRI produces detailed images of organs, soft tissues, bone and nearly every internal body structure.

The images can be examined and interpreted on a computer monitor to allow physicians to better evaluate various parts of the body and certain diseases that cannot be adequately assessed with other imaging methods.
