The Grove City Medical Center Volunteers Lights of Love celebration will be held on Thursday, December 2 at 7 p.m., at which time the holiday trees will be lit and dedicated. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

The volunteers decorate the hospital’s holiday tree with lights, bows and Wendell August Forge aluminum and bronze ornaments in honor of loved ones, sponsored by donations. For more information about how to memorialize a loved one, contact Grove City Medical Center’s public relations department at 724-450-7191.

Through the years, Lights of Love has raised nearly $100,000, all of which has been used to enhance patient care at Grove City Medical Center. Past contributions have funded the acquisition of a laser for eye surgery, an outpatient gastroscope, a nursery monitoring system, and automatic electronic defibrillators. This year’s proceeds will be used to support Grove City Medical Center’s LifeLine Monitoring services, which help seniors live at home safely, with emergency assistance available at the push of a button.
