GCMC’s annual weight loss contest kicks off this week, and the 2018 competition, “Retire the Pounds,” will honor Don Henley, Vice President of Human Resources, who plans to retire later this year. Henley and CEO Rob Jackson began the annual contest in 2009, challenging the workforce to lose weight while encouraging them to think more about the choices they make and how they impact their health. Through the years, pounds have been shed, while wallets have fattened as the biggest losers shared the winnings, and this year promises to be no different.
